Review on flexible perovskite photodetector: processing and applications

Abstract Next-generation optoelectronics should possess lightweight and flexible characteristics, thus conforming to various types of surfaces or human skins for portable wearable applications. Flexible photodetectors as fundamental devices have been receiving increasing attention owing their potential applications in artificial intelligence, aerospace industry, wise information technology 120, among which perovskite is a promising candidate the light-harvesting material its outstanding optical electrical properties, remarkable mechanical flexibility, low-cost low-temperature processing methods. To date, most reports demonstrated fabrication methods materials, materials engineering, solar cells, light-emitting diodes, lasers, photodetectors, strategies device performance enhancement, few can be seen with focus on perovskite-based we will give comprehensive summary, herein. begin with, brief introduction (solution vapor-based methods), configurations (photovoltaic, photoconductor, phototransistor), parameters are first arranged. Emphatically, presented following, including substrates (i.e., polymer, carbon cloth, fiber, paper, etc.), soft electrodes metal-based conductive networks, carbon-based two-dimensional (2D) conformal encapsulation (single-layer multilayer stacked encapsulation), low-dimensional perovskites (0D, 1D, 2D nanostructures), elaborate structures. Typical such communication, image sensing, health monitoring further exhibited learn deeper level. Challenges future research directions proposed end.
